Over the course of several years, The Pattie Group's client transformed their home and property. In addition to designing a new driveway, an outdoor side yard retreat was installed so that the homeowners could relax and enjoy their gardening hobby. The retreat included a Brussels multi-level patio connected by barnstone steps, a footpath, waterfall, and colorful four-season plantings to help soften and frame.

This home was build in 1879 and is a landmark in town. Landscape Design Associates's directive was to enhance the beauty of the home and to create the "old look" desired by their client. A roof-top garden diguises a garage, and reclaimed curbing and sidewalk create flagstone steps and walkways. Plants are symmetrically arranged around a stone patio to provide fragrance and color.
