The owner of this property has a love for hosta and has collected close to 500 varieties to date. Rice's Nursery and Landscaping designed, installed, and maintained the primary portions of the property, and provide extensive care including mowing, edging, trimming, bed maintenance, tree, shrub and lawn fertlization, and weed control. Careful spring mulching of beds and winding paths, and maintenance of three water features are also peformed by Rice's. Hedges of boxwood, arborvitae, and topiaries are pruned on a rotating schedule throughout the growing season.

In 1989, The Pattie Group created a master plan for this 7-acre property and have maintained it ever since. They are responsible for mowing, edging, trimming, bed maintenance, pruning, tree, shrub, and lawn fertilization, pond maintenance, deer control, and lighting management. New phases of the master plan are continually implemented, and the maintenance division is always aware of the areas that will require special and additional care.

American Beauty Landscaping keeps this well known and highly visible property manicured and pristine. Along with mowing, edging, deadheading and cleaning the fountain and drains on a weekly basis, they perform seasonal tasks such as changing the color display, mulching, tree/shrub fertilization, and pesitcide control. Additionaly, American Beauty provides the Christmas light display, snow and ice management, and exterior lighting maintenance.
